Majestically rising on the border of Livonia and Pskov land are the ruins of Old Vastseliina bishop's castle. At the Vastseliina Bishop's Castle Experience Centre and Pilgrimage House, you are surrounded by history and legends.

The Orava area is home to the Piusa caves - old mining tunnels in bright sandstone, and the exciting Ilumetsa meteorite craters.
